Terms and Conditions

Relating to the supply of the service to you (The Customer) Jersey Bus Tours ('The Company'), details of which are set out below.

The service provided by the Company includes the provision of sightseeing tours by passenger-carrying vehicles.

Though the content of the website and the booking process are available in a variety of languages, tickets and confirmation emails will be only generated in English. Similarly, all communication from the Jersey Bus Tours is required in English or French.

E-TICKETS

Customer's purchasing tickets on this website will have their tickets delivered to them by way of E-ticket. The Customer will need to show their ticket on a smart devise or print the E-ticket and bring it with them to present to a member of the Jersey Bus Tours staff at the Customer's boarding point.

TICKETS TO TRAVEL

The Customer should keep their ticket safe as replacements will not be issued. The Customer must show or purchase their ticket as they board. The ticket remains the property of the company and must be produced for inspection and, if requested to do so, be surrendered upon demand to an authorised Company Official. The Customer will not be permitted to use any Jersey Bus Tours service without a valid ticket for the entire journey the Customer wishes to make.

 
LOST TICKETS

The Customer must keep their ticket safe. Customers who lose their tickets need to bring Identification to our main office and redeem a new one.

 
CHILDREN

Child tickets are available for Children aged from 2-15 years.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Children under 2 may travel for Free, if accompanied by a dedicated adult (1 adult :1 child) as long as the child does not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a fare-paying passenger.

 
DEPARTURE POINTS AND TIMES

The Company endeavours to provide departure points and times for the service which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require.

 
TOUR ROUTE

The Company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service in the event of marches, parades, or where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

 
BUSES AND BUS SAFETY

While the Company endeavours to operate open-top buses for certain tours and shuttles it reserves the right to operate closed buses from time to time, especially in bad weather.

During busy times, seating cannot be guaranteed in the open top part of the bus.

The Company reserves the right to refuse access to travel on a particular departure should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety.

For safety reasons all Customers are required to remain seated while the bus is in motion.

 
REFUNDS

In the event that the Company is unable to provide a service throughout the period of the validity of your ticket through circumstances within its control, you shall be entitled to a full or part refund of the price of your ticket.

Refund requests are dealt with at the managers discretion and are not obligatory.

Tickets may not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for reasons outside of our control.

Any application for a refund must be made in writing (tickets must be enclosed) to the Company’s offices.

ACCIDENT OR LOSS

Please take care of all personal property. The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.

 
ALCOHOL

The consumption of alcohol is prohibited on the bus at all times.

 
TICKET AGENTS

Where a ticket is purchased from one of the Company’s Ticket Agents, any query, regarding the ticket purchase or refund request, must be referred to the Ticket Agent who sold the ticket.

 
CUSTOMER CONDUCT

We may at our discretion require any person to alight from a tour if we deem his/her conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.

 
SOCIAL MEDIA

We will be capturing video and photographs during private hire, which may be used to market the our vintage bus or our company now or in the future. If you have any questions about this or how these images will be used, please email us at info@jerseybustours.com

DAMAGE DEPOSITS

All booking for private hire will be subject to a damage deposit, which must be paid at the time of invoicing. 

Any damage deposits paid will be retuned after the event, provided the terms of the hire have be followed and no damage to the coaches has occurred.
